A CONSIDERED ROUTINE
Test a hidden area first. Follow both product labels and keep to thin coats. Allow two hours after buffing the oil before applying the wax.
Apply a thin coat of Slate Oil to clean, dry slate.
Allow the oil to absorb and dry, then buff away all excess.
Wait two hours after buffing. The slate should feel dry, not oily.
Apply wax sparingly, then buff to a shine with a clean, dry part of the cloth.
THE DETAILS, BEAUTIFULLY CONSIDERED

GOOD TO KNOW
One 100ml Slate Restoration Oil, one 150ml Slate Restoration Wax, one yellow application sponge and one grey lint-free microfibre buffing cloth.
Use the sponge for thin, even application. Clean it and let it dry fully before changing products. Fold the cloth into sections and keep a clean, dry part for the final buff.
This varies with the slate, use and cleaning. Refresh the wax when the surface looks dull. Avoid surfaces where a wax finish could make them dangerously slippery.
