STOVE RESTORER · CARE GUIDE
Start with a cold stove.
Finish with character.
A ready-to-use, water-based paste for refreshing the appearance of compatible cast-iron stoves, grates and fireplace fronts. Controlled cloth application, with no spray or overspray. This guide takes you through preparation, application and finishing.

A GOOD PLACE TO START
Before you begin.
Always use on a completely cold appliance. Check the appliance maker’s guidance and patch test first. Keep off glass, enamel, stone and food-contact surfaces.
Cool & prepare
Let the appliance cool completely, then clean and dry the surface.
Check the appliance maker's guidance, patch test, and protect neighbouring surfaces. This is not a rust-removal or repair treatment.
Apply
Work a small amount in evenly with a soft, dry cloth.
Keep the paste on compatible cast iron. Avoid glass, enamel, stone and food-contact surfaces.
Allow to haze
Leave for a few minutes, following the label.
Use the timing on your jar. Do not light or heat the appliance to accelerate this step.
Buff
Buff to an even matt-black finish.
Use a clean, dry section of cloth. Follow the label and appliance maker's guidance before returning the stove to use.
